The London Lightning (17-3) continue their Eastern road trip today, taking on the Saint John Riptide (12-8). The game is their third and final game out east on their current road trip.
The Lightning come into the game having just set the NBL Canada record for consecutive wins, notching their 13th straight victory in Cape Breton on Sunday. The Lightning won that game 133-95.
That game also saw Royce White notch his fourth triple-double of the season, setting the NBL Canada season and career record. In all, the Lightning set a total of 4 league records in the game.
The Riptide are missing a number of players due to suspensions, but still managed to receive strong performances from their players. Former Bolt Darin Mency scored 32 points for the Riptide in their last game, while 6th man of the year candidate Haakim Johnson had 24 points.
Saint John has been the league’s best rebounding team. London will need to hit the boards to secure a victory. Look for Brian Addison to do most of the rebounding for Saint John, meaning Royce White will have to beat him on the glass.
Johnson can also nail his three pointers when he’s open. He’s seventh in the league for three pointers made, and is shooting 40% from beyond the arc.
Tip-off has been set for 6 p.m. You can watch the game below or follow along on our Twitter feed.
