The London Lightning will look a little different on Wednesday when they welcome to the Saint John Riptide to Budweiser Gardens.

Former Bolt Maurice Bolden is expected to make his debut for London Wednesday. He was signed this week as an IR designate for Julian Boyd, who suffered an injury during the team’s Atlantic road trip on the weekend. Along with Boyd, the Bolts will be without Royce White, who is serving a one-game suspension for an accumulation of technical fouls.

London won the other game between these two sides 116-96 on February 28th. That was London’s 14th win a row, which set a league record.

The Riptide have solidified themselves as second-best in the Atlantic Divison — posting a 22-13 record, which is two wins behind the 24-9 Halifax Hurricanes. They’ve been statistically dominate in the rebound category this season, carrying a league-best 52 rebounds per game this season. Watch for how London handles Saint John’s play on the boards without Royce White and Julian Boyd.

The Bolts will have to watch for Anthony Anderson as well. The NBLC stalwart is first in the league with 23ppg as a scoring point guard. Former NBLC MVP Gabe Freeman is also having a successful season, also averaging 23ppg along with 9rpg.

Tip-off has been set for 7pm. Watch the game below or follow along on our Twitter feed.
