The London Lightning will kick off a three-game Atlantic Division road trip on Saturday when they visit the Island Storm.
Saturday’s meeting is the first of the season between these two historic rivals, with the return game scheduled at the end of the month at Budweiser Gardens.
The Bolts will be going for their 10th win in a row.
Saturday’s afternoon game comes off of little rest for the Storm, who fell to the KW Titans by a score of 114-93 on Friday night.
The Island Storm have struggled so far this season, compiling a record of 12-17 under longtime head coach Joe Salerno.
London and the Storm have long been NBLC powerhouses. The two clubs famously met in the 2012-13 NBLC Finals, a series which London won three games to one. Despite both team’s historical superiority over their respective divisions, London leads the all-time record by an astonishing 16-4.
Tip-off has been set for 12 p.m. ET. Stats can be found here.
