The 2017 NBLC Playoffs will officially kick-off on Thursday when the London Lightning host the Orangeville A’s at Budweiser Gardens in Game 1 of their best-of-five Central Division Semi-Final.

Game 1 comes five days after the two teams met Bud Gardens in the last game of the regular season. The A’s rested most of their starters as the Lightning cruised to a 126-107 win.

Even though London posted a hefty 6-1 advantage in the season series, A’s will prove to be a difficult opponent. Orangeville will look toward Justin Moss for a follow-up to his 33-point performance on Sunday. Tyshawn Patterson is another dangerman for the A’s. The former Bolt can use his speed and skill to make the difference if he’s allowed.

The Lightning’s homecourt advantage will be important in this series. The Athlete’s Institute’s small confines have proven to be a difficult place for visiting teams to play, with London giving up one of their five losses in Orangeville back in January.

Tip-off has been set for 7pm. Watch the game below or follow along on our Twitter feed.
